Cipla Pharma Ke Pune Drug Sale Licences Phir Cancel, High Court Ke Baad FDA Ka Fresh Action

Maharashtra FDA ne Cipla Pharma & Life Sciences Ltd. ke Wadki, Pune facility ke drug sale licences cancel karne ka fresh order pass kiya hai.

Is mamle mein FDA ne pehle bhi Cipla ke licences cancel kiye the, lekin Cipla ne is action ko Bombay High Court mein challenge kiya tha.

High Court mein FDA ki hearing process par sawal uthe. Cipla ko 26 August ko hearing ke liye bulaya gaya tha, jab Maharashtra mein public holiday tha. Iske baad FDA ne apna pehla cancellation order withdraw kiya aur fresh process follow karne ki baat kahi.

High Court ke directions ke baad FDA ne 4 September ko fresh show-cause notice issue kiya, 11 September ko Cipla ne written reply diya aur 21 September ko company ko personal hearing ka mauka diya gaya.

FDA ke mutabik, inspection mein Schedule H medicine Reaction Plus ki packaging par headache, muscular pain, backache, joint pain aur toothache mein quick relief jaise promotional claims ko lekar irregularities saamne aayi.

Iske alawa godown mein incomplete records, expired medicines ke identification aur disposal SOP ki kami, invoices mein irregularities aur SAP records aur physically available medicine stock mein difference bhi report kiya gaya.

Company ke reply, personal hearing aur inspection findings ko consider karne ke baad FDA Pune ke Licensing Authority ne 1 October ko Cipla ke Wadki facility ke drug sale licences cancel karne ka fresh order pass kiya.

Yaani High Court proceedings ke baad pehla order withdraw hua tha, lekin fresh notice aur hearing ki process complete hone ke baad FDA ne licences dobara cancel kar diye hain.
