CJP Protest: Connaught Place to Close After 6:30 PM; NDMC Advises Shopkeepers

Security arrangements are being continuously tightened amidst the ongoing CJP protest in Delhi regarding the NEET paper leak. Earlier, 16 metro stations in Delhi were closed, and now, business owners in Connaught Place have been instructed to shut their shops, offices, and restaurants by 6:30 PM. Following the directive from the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC), the New Delhi Traders Association (NDTA) has issued an advisory regarding this matter. Meanwhile, Aam Aadmi Party National Convener Arvind Kejriwal has launched a scathing attack, questioning the government’s intentions. The ‘Cockroach Janata Party’ has also raised questions regarding this circular.
