Political temperatures in the national capital, Delhi, have soared once again—this time over the national flag (Tricolour). Abhijit Deepke, founder of the ‘Cockroach Janata Party’ (CJP), has announced a major event titled ‘Hoist the Tricolour’ (‘Lehra Do Tiranga’), scheduled for 5:00 PM on October 16th at Central Park in Connaught Place, Delhi. According to the organizers, individuals named Sourav Das and Ashutosh Ranka were imprisoned solely for the ‘offence’ of hoisting the Tricolour—a situation that prompted Deepke to announce this event.
