The monsoon session of the UP Assembly appears to be heading towards disruption. After staging a protest outside the Assembly, the SP created an uproar inside the House as well, targeting the government over the issue of theft of offerings. Chief Minister Yogi was infuriated by the opposition’s sloganeering. CM Yogi Adityanath stated that the entire state has witnessed the conduct of the SP and the opposition in the Assembly; he remarked that such behavior not only amounts to contempt of the House but is also undemocratic and shameful. The Chief Minister added that Ayodhya and the *Sadhu-Sants* (seers) are being maligned.
