Counterfeit Currency Syndicate Busted in Rohini; ₹10.50 Lakh in Fake Notes Seized, 4 Arrested
Desk: The police have busted a major counterfeit currency syndicate in Delhi’s Rohini area. Acting on the case, the DIU team of the Rohini District Police arrested four individuals. According to the police, counterfeit notes worth approximately ₹10.50 lakh and printing equipment used to manufacture the fake currency were recovered from the accused. The police are now searching for other individuals linked to this network. Authorities state that the gang has already circulated counterfeit notes worth over ₹1 crore in the market. An investigation into the matter is currently underway.
