CWG 2026: Gulveer Singh wins India’s first silver in the 10,000m event

India’s star long-distance runner Gulveer Singh made history at the 2026 Commonwealth Games. By winning the silver medal in the men’s 10,000m race, he became the first Indian athlete to win a Commonwealth Games medal in this event. President Droupadi Murmu and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath congratulated Gulveer Singh on this historic achievement.
