Delhi Incident: 5 Dead, 5 Critically Injured; ABVP-DUSU Student Leaders Stage Massive Protest

Five people died and five others were critically injured when a five-story building collapsed in Delhi’s Satya Niketan area on Sunday. Reports indicate the collapsed structure was approximately 40 to 50 years old. The deceased include a student and a laborer, while the identities of the other three remain unconfirmed. Locals reported that water had accumulated in the building’s basement; at the time of the incident, students were in their rooms, and excavation work was underway in the basement. A total of 12 people have been rescued so far, but questions are now being raised regarding the cause and circumstances of the tragedy. While the opposition has launched an attack on the government, student leaders from the ABVP and DUSU have staged a massive protest against the MCD over the incident.
