Double murder in Haridwar, dead bodies of two monks buried in jungle, chief priest
A sensation has spread over the brutal killing of two sadhus in Pathari area of the religious city of Haridwar. The bodies of Sadhu Seva Giri and Uttam Giri, who were missing from the Pathareshwar Mahadev Temple, were recovered from a pit in the forest. Initial investigations have revealed that one monk was strangulated to death, while the other was stabbed multiple times. After the murder, both bodies were buried in the forest. Police, FSL team and senior officials reached the spot and started investigation. Prima facie suspicion is being cast on the head priest of the temple in the case, who is said to be absconding since the incident. Several police teams are on the lookout for the accused.
