The police in Etah have made a major breakthrough in the case involving the murder of a mother and daughter. The double murder, which took place in the Awagarh police station area on Sunday, has been solved. Three accused have been arrested in connection with the case; a reward of ₹25,000 had been announced for one of them. The police carried out this operation with the assistance of the SWAT and surveillance teams. A hammer used in the crime was also recovered from the accused. The incident occurred around 11:30 PM on September 21, when the accused killed the mother and daughter using a hammer. The prime accused in the case turned out to be the daughter’s father-in-law.
