The burning of a cockroach effigy alongside Ravana in Delhi has sparked a political uproar! On the occasion of Dussehra in Pitampura, a 30-foot-tall effigy of a cockroach was set ablaze. Following this, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) lodged a complaint with the Lieutenant Governor (LG) and the Delhi Police Commissioner, alleging that religious sentiments had been hurt. AAP leader Saurabh Bharadwaj has demanded that an FIR be registered against the organizers. In response, BJP leaders have launched a sharp attack on the Aam Aadmi Party.
