FDA Action: Status Restaurant Nariman Point Aur Bombay Presidency Radio Club Colaba Ke Food Licences Suspended

Mumbai: Maharashtra FDA ne Food Safety Commissioner Tukaram Mundhe ki guidance mein Status Restaurant, Nariman Point aur Bombay Presidency Radio Club, Colaba ke food licences suspend kar diye hain.

Status Restaurant mein 20 August ko consumer complaint ke baad inspection hua. FDA ke mutabik employee clean utensils ke upar face wash karte mila. Dirty cutlery, stagnant water, grease/oil accumulation, food waste, temperature monitoring records ki kami, raw-cooked aur veg-non-veg food ki improper segregation aur chemicals ko food ke saath store karne jaise violations report hue.

Bombay Presidency Radio Club mein 19 August ki inspection ke dauran FDA ne fly infestation, dead cockroach, food preparation area ke upar flaking plaster, chemicals ke saath food storage, unhygienic refrigerators, improper thawing aur food ke saath sweaty helmets/clothing store hone jaise violations report kiye. FDA ke mutabik overall non-compliance 47% tha.

FDA ne dono establishments ko suspension period mein food purchase, sale aur distribution band rakhne ka direction diya hai.
