Flowers showered on Kanwariyas from both ground and sky in Meerut; Kanwariyas rejoiced upon seeing CM Yogi.

The enthusiasm of the Kanwariyas in Modipuram, Meerut, was a sight to behold. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath welcomed the Shiva-devotee Kanwariyas by showering flower petals upon them from a stage set up on NH-58. Along with the CM’s gesture, flowers were also showered from a helicopter along the Kanwar route. Amidst the floral shower, devotional songs dedicated to Lord Shiva played on DJ systems, and large numbers of Kanwariyas were seen dancing with great enthusiasm. The entire atmosphere became imbued with devotion, resonating with chants of “Har-Har Mahadev” and “Bol Bam.” Meerut MP and actor Arun Govil was also present on the stage.
