From Jantar Mantar yesterday to Rajghat today: the opposition’s convoy set out in buses following a lunch hosted by Kharge.
Delhi: For the second consecutive day, the opposition has taken to the streets amidst Delhi’s political landscape. While Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi were detained by the police on Wednesday during an attempt to stage a protest at Jantar Mantar, MPs from the INDIA alliance arrived at Rajghat in buses on Thursday. This convoy, which departed after a lunch hosted by Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, includes MPs from several parties, including the SP and TMC. Police have set up barricades at all the gates of Rajghat. Before setting out, Kharge stated that they would pray to Bapu to grant wisdom to the government, while Rahul Gandhi claimed the support of over 300 MPs.
