India has further tightened the legal noose around Lashkar-e-Taiba chief Hafiz Saeed, the mastermind behind the Pahalgam terror attack. A special NIA court in Jammu has issued a non-bailable warrant against the terrorist ringleader. Concurrently, the process for a ‘trial in absentia’—conducting the trial in his absence—has also been initiated.
