1960 me unhone apna career start kiya Geet Gaya Pattharon (1964) me movie me kaam kiya.
Actor ke saath Jitendra kafi acche Dancer bhi hai.
2003 me unhe Filmfare Lifetime Achievement ka Award mila ,2005 me Screen Lifetime Achievement Award & 2014 Dadasaheb Phalke Awards bhi mila hai.
