In Bengal, Pandit Dhirendra Shastri delivered a strong message during the ‘Hanumant Katha’: “India belongs to us… those who have a problem with it can go to Bangladesh.”
Dhirendra Shastri has commenced the ‘Shri Hanumant Katha’ in the state for the first time since the change of power and the formation of the BJP government in Bengal last May. He is conducting this three-day event from September 4 to September 6. During the discourse, Pandit Dhirendra Shastri addressed the audience and sang a patriotic song—”Dil Diya Hai… Jaan Bhi Denge” (Gave my heart… will give my life too)—along with the people. As the song was sung, the entire venue echoed with chants of “Jai Shri Ram” and “Bharat Mata Ki Jai.”
