India Shines at CWG 2026: Tejaswin Shankar Makes History

Star Indian athlete Tejaswin Shankar made history at the Commonwealth Games 2026 (CWG 2026) by winning the bronze medal in the men’s decathlon event. Tejaswin has become the first Indian athlete to win medals in two different events in the history of the Commonwealth Games. Delivering a stellar performance across 10 grueling events, he secured a total of 7,976 points and added another medal to India’s tally.
