Intense Firing on Police Team in Danapur, Patna; Three Criminals Injured in Retaliatory Fire; Maner Station House Officer (SHO) Also Sustained Injuries

A major development is emerging from Patna, the capital of Bihar. Late Friday night, a fierce encounter took place between the police and criminals at the Sherpur Ganga Ghat, located within the jurisdiction of the Maner police station in the Danapur subdivision. Acting on intelligence, the police and the Special Task Force (STF) received information that more than half a dozen criminals had gathered along the banks of the Ganges, allegedly planning to carry out a major crime. Upon receiving this tip-off, a joint team comprising the STF and the Maner police cordoned off the area and initiated a raid. However, as soon as the criminals spotted the police team, they opened fire.
