Iran Issues Warning to US Warships in the Strait of Hormuz

Although direct attacks between the US and Iran may have ceased, tensions between the two nations persist. Iran has issued a stern warning to the US, stating that if American warships attempt to deviate from the designated maritime route in the Strait of Hormuz and use an alternative path, they will be targeted. Mohsen Rezaei, a senior advisor to Iran’s Supreme Leader, stated on Monday that Iran would not allow the opening of a second maritime corridor under any circumstances; even if the US deploys warships there, they would be targeted.
