Limbs torn apart… workers lose their lives in Saharanpur blast
A major tragedy has occurred in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh. A massive explosion took place at a firecracker factory on Friday evening. Two young men died in the incident, while two others are reported missing. All of them hailed from the Khargone district of Madhya Pradesh. Reports indicate that ‘sutli bombs’ (traditional jute-wrapped firecrackers) had been manufactured at the factory for five years, and 23 workers were on duty when the explosion occurred. Fortunately, 19 of the 23 workers are reported to be safe. Police, who arrived at the scene following the incident, described the blast as extremely severe. An investigation is underway to determine how the accident occurred and what caused it.
