HELLO GALLINEWS
Mahim Traffic Police bana Abondened 2 Wheeler ka Dumping Ground
A huge pile of seized two-wheelers by Mahim traffic police dumped from corner to corner near Mahim Subway and Mahim Traffic Police Chowky.
These vehicles, abandoned and unclaimed, are gathering dust for many years and have taken up precious space meant for Pedestrians and Mahim residents.
A way of clearing the pile-up is to dispose of these vehicles and the police have a standard procedure for this but due to negligence of Mahim Traffic police, 200 seized bikes are not cleared by traffic police near Mahim Subway inconveniencing school children to use Subway
Vehicles could be taken to a single location, like an open ground, and personnel could be deployed to keep a watch. This can free up space near Mahim Subway.
The clutch and brake wires of seized bikes are chewed by rats. The tyres are worn out. There is need to shift Mahim traffic police Chowky to some other place as chowky is in middle of road . Road can be widen after shifting Traffic chowky and Traffic will move smoothly.
Mahim traffic senior Inspector Mr Ghorpade is telling that when there is space in trombay mahul ground then only he will shift seized dusk bikes till then he has no option and bikes will be on roads.
He is telling it will take 2 to 3 months to shift bikes to trombay mahul ground. Bmc g north Ward officer Mr Ramakant birader is not giving ground to traffic police to shift bikes.
