Major fire in Delhi’s Mangolpuri: 4 dead, 2 in critical condition after blaze at a shoe factory

A massive fire broke out late Friday night at a shoe factory in the Mangolpuri Industrial Area of ​​the national capital, Delhi. Four people lost their lives in the incident, while two others sustained injuries. According to reports, the fire started in the basement of a shoe factory located in Phase-1 of the Mangolpuri Industrial Area. Upon receiving information about the blaze around 9:30 PM, 20 fire tenders were dispatched to the scene, and rescue operations were initiated. Firefighters recovered six individuals from inside the factory; they were found in an unconscious state. All of them were immediately rushed to the Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital, where doctors declared four of them dead.
