Maulana Madani makes a major statement on the Vande Mataram Bill: “Muslims worship only Allah.”

The Vande Mataram Bill has been passed by both the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha. Following its passage in both houses, the bill has become the focal point of a debate between Hindus and Muslims; while Hindus largely support the measure, the Muslim community has termed it anti-Muslim. Muslim organizations have raised questions about the bill, arguing that it violates religious rights guaranteed by the Constitution. The All India Muslim Personal Law Board and the Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind have opposed the bill. Maulana Arshad Madani, President of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind, has expressed objections regarding certain provisions of the bill.
