BSP chief Mayawati has expressed appreciation for CM Yogi. The Bahujan Samaj Party supremo has praised Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Amidst the assembly elections, her words of praise for CM Yogi spread like wildfire through political circles within minutes. Two days ago, CM Yogi announced that the district of Bhadohi would once again be named ‘Sant Ravidas Nagar’; following this, Mayawati praised him in a social media post. She wrote, “As is well known from media reports, the current UP government has restored the district’s name to ‘Sant Ravidas Nagar’—a district originally created by the BSP government (which had also granted it the status of a divisional headquarters) but subsequently renamed by the Samajwadi Party (SP) government due to its narrow, casteist mindset. The party is grateful to the state government for this move.”
