Political temperatures across the country have soared following allegations against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. While the Congress staged nationwide protests demanding his resignation, certain NDA allies have also sought clarification from the Election Commission. Following Union Minister and LJP (Ram Vilas) chief Chirag Paswan, Rajya Sabha MP and Rashtriya Lok Morcha chief Upendra Kushwaha has now demanded an explanation from the Election Commission regarding the ‘SIR’ issue.
