National mourning in Nepal on the 13th day of the tragedy; 1,355 dead and nearly 5,000 missing so far.

New Delhi: The Government of Nepal declared a day of national mourning on Monday, marking the 13th day since the massive tragedy struck the country. Throughout the day, national flags at government offices across Nepal, as well as at Nepali embassies abroad, were flown at half-mast. Rescue operations are continuing uninterrupted. So far, 1,355 people have lost their lives in the tragedy, and over 5,000 remain missing. Meanwhile, relief and rehabilitation efforts are underway in several parts of the country.
