NDA ke nominee aur Maharashtra ke Governor CP Radhakrishnan ko Bharat ka 17va Vice President chuna gaya hai.
Unhone total 452 votes haasil kiye, jabki opposition INDIA bloc ke candidate aur retired Supreme Court Judge B Sudershan Reddy ko 300 votes mile.
Voting subah 10 baje shuru hui thi aur shaam 5 baje khatam hui, jisme 98% se zyada MPs ne hissa liya. Counting shaam 6 baje shuru hui aur raat tak result aa gaya.
