New Delhi – Angry SpiceJet passengers staged a sit-in at Delhi airport after two Dubai-bound flights were delayed by more than 24 hours. One flight was due to leave yesterday morning and had still not taken off.

New Delhi – Angry SpiceJet passengers staged a sit-in at Delhi airport after two Dubai-bound flights were delayed by more than 24 hours. One flight was due to leave yesterday morning and had still not taken off.

The other was scheduled last night and also remained on the ground. Repeated postponements exhausted travellers, who protested at the terminal.SpiceJet had not issued a detailed public explanation at the time of the demonstration. Passengers demanded a departure time, meals and hotel support where rules require them. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation typically looks into long delays when complaints are filed.
