No Bulldozer for Jauhar University: Moradabad Commissioner Issues Stay Order

The Rampur Development Authority had declared 38 buildings of the Rampur-based Maulana Mohammad Ali Jauhar University illegal and ordered their demolition; however, the Moradabad Commissioner has issued an interim stay on this action. The Samajwadi Party welcomed the decision, while the Apna Dal also staged a protest against the government in Lucknow. All eyes are now fixed on the next judicial hearing and the Commissioner’s final verdict.
