Chief Justice *Sanjiv Khanna* ki bench ne *koi interim stay pass nahi kiya, lekin Union Government ke taraf se diye gaye **assurances ko record* kiya gaya.

*Solicitor General Tushar Mehta* ne interim stay se bachne ke liye Court ko assurance diya: ki

– *Section 9 aur 14* ke tehet *Waqf Board* ya *Waqf Council* mein *koi nayi appointment* nahi hogi.

– *Waqf by user, registered, ya notified properties* ko *denotify nahi* kiya jayega.

– *Collectors* bhi in properties mein *koi change nahi* karenge.

Tushar Mehta ne Court se *7 din ka waqt* maanga reply file karne ke liye. Is par Court ne agla hearing date *5 May 2025* fix kar diya.

Ek din pehle Supreme Court ne *3-point interim stay* ka proposal diya tha. Tab Govt ne *sirf ek din ka samay* maanga tha. Lekin aaj hearing ke dauraan Govt ne *interim order se bachne ke liye khud hi woh sab assurances de diye jo stay ka hissa ban sakte the*.

Ap ko Bata de ki Supreme Court koi interim stay deta, toh BJP sarkaar ke liye yeh ek *political embarrassment* ho sakta tha.

Supreme Court ne *sarkaar ke assurances ko record* karte hue kaha ki matter ko ab *5 May* tak ke liye tal diya gaya hai. Us din *interim relief* par decision ho sakta hai.

Tab tak:

– *Waqf Board mein koi appointment nahi hogi*
– *Registered ya notified waqf properties denotify nahi hongi*
– *Waqf by user properties bhi safe rahengi*
– *District Collectors koi changes nahi karenge*

Agli sunwayi 5 May ko hogi jahan matter par aage ka faisla liya jayega.
