OBC Activist Laxman Hake Ne Maharashtra Government Ke GR Ko ‘Illegal’ Bataya
Other Backward Classes (OBC) activist Laxman Hake ne Maharashtra government ke Maratha reservation ke liye jaari Government Resolution (GR) ko ‘unjust’ aur ‘illegal’ kararkar kiya hai, jo Maratha quota activist Manoj Jarange-Patil ki demands ke response mein 2 September 2025 ko aaya.

Hake ne kaha ki government ke paas Marathas ko Kunbi caste certificates dene ka koi adhikaar nahi hai, kyunki yeh OBC quota mein intrusion hai.
Unhone kaha ki agar yeh GR implement hua, toh OBC community sadkon par utar kar protest karegi.
Hake ne bataya, “Supreme Court, Central Backward Commission, aur State Backward Commission ne Marathas ko OBC category mein shamil karne se mana kiya hai
High courts ne bhi Maratha aur Kunbi ko ek maanne se inkaar kiya. Phir bhi, government caste certificates ke liye process aasan kar rahi hai, jo contempt of court hai aur OBC reservation ko khatam kar sakta hai.”
