Opposition divided on FCRA Bill? Uddhav and Supriya call for JPC referral; TMC and DMK also voice differing views.

Divergent views have emerged within the opposition regarding the FCRA Amendment Bill. While the Congress is demanding the complete withdrawal of the bill, Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena (UBT) has indicated a possibility of supporting it after reviewing the draft and holding discussions. Meanwhile, Supriya Sule of the NCP’s Sharad Pawar faction has demanded that the bill either be withdrawn or referred to a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC). The stances of the TMC, DMK, and BJD also appear to differ from that of the Congress.
