Opposition protests against Gyanesh Kumar; Rahul Gandhi climbs barricade and waves the Tricolour

Delhi: The Opposition launched a protest against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. Around 150 opposition MPs marched to demand the removal of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and to protest against alleged irregularities in the appointment process. MPs from the INDIA bloc marched from the Parliament House complex towards the Election Commission headquarters. The INDIA bloc has termed this the ‘Save Democracy March’. Prominent opposition leaders, including Rahul Gandhi, Akhilesh Yadav, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, and Mallikarjun Kharge, participated in the march.
