Owaisi targets Akhilesh over Muzaffarnagar riots, asks: Why couldn’t the SP’s 32 Muslim MLAs stop the riots?

Political rhetoric has intensified ahead of the UP Assembly elections. During a public rally in Kairana, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi launched a sharp attack on the Samajwadi Party and Akhilesh Yadav. Referring to the Muzaffarnagar riots, Owaisi questioned Akhilesh Yadav’s tenure and the role of the 32 Muslim MLAs who were in office at the time. Owaisi alleged that SP leaders made no effort to assist the victims of the riots. Furthermore, he accused Akhilesh Yadav of harboring hatred toward those who wear beards and skullcaps.
