PM Modi Praises Herbal Tea Made by Bijnor Women in ‘Mann Ki Baat’

Bijnor (UP): ‘VIDUR Prerna Swadeshi Herbal Tea,’ produced by rural women from Bijnor associated with the National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM), is now poised to move beyond the national stage and gain international recognition. Members of the women’s Self-Help Group (SHG)—part of the ‘Vidur Prerna Herbal Tea Production Group’ based in Lakhiwala village, Kotwali development block—have been manufacturing and packaging this herbal tea for nearly two years. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also highlighted this startup in the 136th episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat.’
