Police conduct surprise crackdown on drinkers in Ballabgarh, Haryana; individuals flee the scene

On Wednesday night, police in Ballabgarh—located in Faridabad, Haryana—launched an operation against people consuming alcohol in public. As part of the Haryana government’s ongoing campaign against substance abuse, police conducted a late-night raid in Ballabgarh and apprehended several individuals who were drinking. Led by the Station House Officer (SHO) of the City Police Station, the police team took action against those allegedly consuming alcohol illegally near liquor shops and along the roadside, according to information provided by the police.
