Delhi: During this parliamentary session, the opposition put the government in the dock over the state of the education system. Rahul Gandhi launched a scathing attack regarding the reception accorded to former Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan in Parliament, describing him as a symbol of corruption and a ruined education system. Meanwhile, Gaurav Gogoi raised the issue of sluggish action in the NEET-UG 2024 paper leak case, noting that 44 out of the 45 accused named in the charge sheet have already been granted bail. The opposition argues that despite the introduction of a strict law in 2024, a paper leak occurred again in 2026, raising questions about the government’s seriousness.
