Amid the Congress party’s ongoing political battles—including issues like the ‘SIR’ (alleged ‘stolen’ mandate/vote theft)—traders in Delhi now appear to be taking a stand against Rahul Gandhi. The Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) has addressed a stern letter to Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, demanding an explanation regarding the disruption caused to business activities by political rallies and demonstrations in Delhi’s markets. CAIT has posed five key questions to Rahul Gandhi, alleging that these political protests have adversely affected the livelihoods of traders. Furthermore, the organization has warned that, following Diwali, it will convene a meeting of trader leaders from across the country to finalize a date for observing a ‘Day of Condemnation’ (Dhikkar Diwas) against Rahul Gandhi.
