A 7-year-old boy drowned to death there on Thursday morning. The incident occurred in the Sanjay Colony area, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Samaypur Badli police station. According to reports, the tragic accident took place when 7-year-old Rehan stepped out of his home early in the morning to relieve himself; he lost his balance and drowned in the water accumulated in a vacant plot. When he did not return home after a long time, his family went to the spot and were devastated to find the child drowned. The family has blamed the administration’s negligence for this incident.
