Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor’s Padmavati right on track, will release on November 17
With speculations doing the rounds that Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor’s Padmavati being delayed, everyone thought that the film would not release this year. Reports started doing the rounds that Sanjay Leela Bhansali is looking for an ideal release date in 2018. However, let us inform you that all these rumours are absolutely FALSE! In fact, Padmavati is right on track and will release on the earlier mentioned date – November 17, 2017. As a source close to Bhansali Productions revealed to us, “There is no truth to these rumours. Padmavati will release this year as scheduled as opposed to the reports of it being shifted to next year. The film will release on November 17, 2017 as planned.”
Earlier this month, reports started doing the rounds that Padmavati has been delayed as the film is running behind schedule. Apparently, the ruckus during the Jaipur schedule (SLB was beaten up) and the costumes being burnt during the Kolhapur set fire incident had led to the delays. However, from our sources, we hear that the film is running as per schedule.
In fact, Shahid Kapoor is currently shooting for the movie in Filmcity. His major individual scenes will be completed in a couple of days. Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone will also join the actor soon. A huge set has been erected at the Film city and we expect the major dialogue portions to be shot during this schedule. Post that the team will either go back to Jaipur and complete the shoot or find a new location.
In the meanwhile, the Karni Sena has launched a fresh protest against Sanjay Leela Bhansali even after his assurance that the no love making scene between Alauddin Khilji (Ranveer) and Rani Padmavati (Deepika) has been included in the movie. The team had even clarified that the Rani of Mewar or the Rajputs haven’t been shown in a bad light.
