Severe Devastation from Rains and Floods in Pune; Pundalik Temple in Alandi Submerged

Two major cities in Maharashtra—Mumbai and Pune—are currently grappling with the impact of torrential rains, floods, and landslides. Following a landslide on Sunday, Alandi in Pune is also witnessing scenes of severe devastation. The Indrayani River is raging due to the floods, and the ghats along the swollen river are completely submerged. The famous Bhakta Pundalik Temple, situated on the riverbank, has also been surrounded by floodwaters. An NDRF team arrived at the site and carried out a rescue operation for the devotees present inside the temple.
