Shiv Sena (Shinde faction) corporator Ramesh Mhatre arrested for assaulting doctors; party distances itself as political heat rises!
The Mumbai Police have arrested Shiv Sena (Shinde faction) corporator Ramesh Mhatre on charges of assaulting a female doctor and nurses at a hospital run by the Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation. Although Mhatre has denied the allegations, his own party has distanced itself from him following the circulation of a viral video. Meanwhile, the doctors’ resentment shows no signs of subsiding.
