Shock in Bawana over death of 10-year-old boy; body found in bushes, police investigating

The body of 10-year-old Intezar—who had gone missing from Delhi’s Bawana JJ Colony on October 4—was recovered on October 5 from the bushes on a vacant DDA plot near the G-7/G-8 flats in the Sannoth area. The family has identified the body. Police summoned the crime team and FSL to the scene to conduct an investigation, and the body has been sent to BJRM Hospital for a post-mortem. Police are currently examining nearby CCTV footage and working to determine the cause of the child’s death and identify the accused involved in the incident.
