Sonam Wangchuk discharged from hospital; visits Rajghat
Sonam Wangchuk was discharged from the hospital on Monday. After leaving the hospital, he visited Rajghat, where, reflecting on Mahatma Gandhi’s ideals, he stated that non-violence remains the most effective path even today. He believes that governments should listen to the voice of the people and that solutions emerge only through dialogue. Speaking to IANS, Sonam Wangchuk remarked that Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation holds little significance on its own; the resignation is merely a beginning. He further emphasized that the achievement was not secured through physical force, lathis, or stones, but rather through the suffering they voluntarily endured; resorting to lathis and stones carried the risk of escalating the situation. Let us hear what else Sonam Wangchuk had to say.
