Serial bomb blast ke baad security ko dhyan me rakhte hue liya gaya faisla.
Sri Lankan president Maithripala Sirisena ke office aur All Ceylon Jamiyathul Ulema (ACJU) se baatchit ke baad liya gaya faisla.
Muslim mahilao ke 'Naqaab' hi nahi balki koi bhi nagrik apna chehra chupa kar ghoom nahi sakta.
"Any face garment which hinders identification will be banned to ensure national security. The ban is to ensure national security. No one should obscure their faces to make identification difficult," the president's office said.
