Student Protest in Jharkhand Suspended for Two Months; Stern Warning Issued

The ongoing student protest in Ranchi, Jharkhand, has been suspended for two months. The agitation, which had been underway at Ranchi’s Jaipal Singh Munda Stadium since July 25, is finally being called off on Wednesday. The students announced the suspension of the protest after the government agreed to almost all their major demands. However, the students have made it clear that the movement is not considered fully over; they have issued a two-month ultimatum to the government regarding their remaining demands, including a CBI inquiry. According to the students, if these demands are not met within this two-month period, they will resume the agitation.
