Students are protesting in Bihar; when Tejashwi arrived to meet them, the BJP quipped, “Found some time away from abroad?”

Students are staging a sit-in and a hunger strike at Gardanibagh in Patna to demand teacher recruitment, action regarding paper leaks, and the proper conduct of recruitment exams. Amidst this, Tejashwi Yadav, the Leader of the Opposition in the Bihar Legislative Assembly, arrived to meet the students; he inquired about the well-being of the protesting students observing the hunger strike and expressed his support for their demands. Tejashwi stated that if the youth unite and raise their voices for their rights, the Bihar government—much like the governments in Delhi and Jharkhand—will be compelled to yield to the students’ struggle. He also invited the students to join the Mahagathbandhan’s march to the Raj Bhavan on August 19.
