Australia ke Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) mein Ashes Test match se pehle Bondi Beach attack ke victims aur heroes ko emotional tribute diya gaya. Is dauran Ahmed Al-Ahmed, jinhone December mein Bondi Beach par hue attack ke waqt hamlavar ko rok kar kai logon ki jaan bachayi thi, unhe special honour diya gaya. Ahmed Al-Ahmed ne apni jaan ki parwah kiye bina attacker ko tackle kiya, jiske baad unhe “Bondi ke Hero” ke naam se jaana ja raha hai.
Cricket Australia aur authorities ne match se pehle guard of honour aur silence ke zariye victims, first responders aur Ahmed Al-Ahmed ke courage ko salute kiya. Yeh tribute January 2026 mein Ashes Test ke opening ceremony ke dauran diya gaya.
