Team Investigating Amravati Hospital Fire; Doctor Makes Major Revelation

The departmental inquiry into the fire incident at the District Women’s Hospital in Amravati, Maharashtra, has been intensified. Authorities are prioritizing the investigation into the cause of the fire and are attempting to determine whose negligence led to the incident. Following the event, a government-appointed inquiry committee arrived at the hospital today and has commenced a probe into the entire matter. The committee is headed by Sunita Golait-Katkar, Joint Director of the Health Department. The team has recorded statements from 50 staff members regarding the NICU incident, and a technical team has inspected the machinery and equipment. Meanwhile, a hospital surgeon has made a significant disclosure: according to him, a formal request regarding the hospital’s renovation and safety measures had been submitted to the concerned department prior to the incident, but it went unheeded.
