Robust security measures have been put in place for the BRICS summit being held in the capital, Delhi. Along with the Delhi Police, security agencies are on high alert. Barricades have been set up at various locations, and all incoming and outgoing vehicles are being checked. Police personnel have been deployed across different zones of the city; 15,000 police personnel and 200 companies of paramilitary forces have been engaged for security duties. Additionally, technical equipment has been installed to detect any potential threats. To bolster security and monitor the routes from IGI Airport to Shanti Path during the summit, the Delhi Police has installed over 700 CCTV cameras and set up five control rooms.
